What is East of Mayfair?
East of Mayfair is an online gallery that sells art, design and photographs by modern and contemporary artists.
Is it ever possible to view works in person?
If you live in London, we can arrange a private viewing. We will also be hosting temporary exhibitions that allow you to experience artworks in a more traditional gallery setting.
Where can I learn about the different terms used to describe artworks on this site?
You can find out all about terminology in our Glossary section.
What is your return policy?
We handle returns on a case-by-case basis. If there is a problem with your shipment, send us an email at help@eastofmayfair.com
Please note that our general policy is that we are unable to accept returns, refunds or exchanges on our products.
What are methods of payment do you accept?
East of Mayfair accepts Mastercard, Visa, Maestro & Direct Debit.
How do I know whether the artworks for sale are authentic?
Works by living artists come directly from their studios and are signed by the artist. Works by artists who are no longer alive come from the estate of the artist and most are signed by the artist during his/her lifetime. Unsigned works come with a certificate of authenticity.
Do you ever sell out editions?
Limited editions can sell out since there is a set number of works produced and available for sale. Other pieces are unique and will be “sold out” after the first purchase.
What if a print gets damaged during shipping or has a printing flaw?
If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us at help@eastofmayfair.com
All claims on damaged works must be made with 48 hours of receiving the package. Please keep in mind that artworks may not be replaceable as all our pieces are limited or unique. Works by modern artists who are no longer alive will show signs of aging and do therefore not apply for return under the clause of damage.
How much does it cost to ship a print?
Shipping costs depend on the size, weight and destination of the shipment. To determine your shipping rate, simply begin the checkout process. If your delivery address is not within the European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. Please note that we cannot deliver to a PO Box address.
How long does it take for an artwork to ship after I place an order?
Our prints can ship in as little as 2 days and as many as 20 business days (for a custom framed print) after an order is placed. You will receive a tracking number with your shipment confirmation email that will allow you to check on the delivery status of your order.
Can I place an order by phone?
Yes, you can call us on +44 207 247 4064 or Skype: eastofmayfair from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 18:00 GMT.
Is it safe to order online through your site?

All personal information, including credit or debit card number, name and address is encrypted using 128-bit security so that data transmitted between your web browser and our secure server via the internet cannot be read by any unauthorised persons.
If I buy a print, do I own the copyright?
No, the copyright is not transferred to the buyer or owner of the print. Copyright remains with the artist/estate of the artist.
